Welcome to my shop. I repair standard braillers, electric braillers, and "Jumbo" braillers and would like to show you what I do to make your brailler work at peak efficiency.

Background: I work as a full-time transcriber in a school district. During the last 3.5 years I have learned first hand how important it is to have a properly operating braillewriter. When I needed a second job, my mentor suggested braillewriter repair, so I took the course and I loved it. It is exciting to repair and clean a brailler and see it operate like new again.

I have included photos demonstrating my work. The steps include: disassembly, cleaning, repair, reassembly, and testing. My testing after repairing or cleaning always includes brailling a full page to make sure the braillewriter is functioning correctly.
