I have a grader who is asking the following question. Please let me know if you need more information.
In the Instruction Manual for Braille Transcribing, Fifth Edition 2009, Lesson 15, Rule 15.5 Quoted or Displayed Material. It says to follow print paragraph format, either indented or blocked.
In the Exercises In Braille For Teachers of Transcribers, Fifth Edition 2009, Exercise 15, #20. It shows the displayed material in indented paragraph format while the print version, in the instruction manual, is in blocked paragraph format.
Exercise #20 seems to be a facsimile of a hand written sign (displayed material). Why isn’t this excerpt transcribed in blocked paragraph format?
