The NBA Nominating Committee will be preparing a slate of officers and directors to stand for election at the Fall 2021 NBA Professional Development Conference. If you, or someone you know, would be interested in the opportunity to serve NBA, please complete the form below.

Available Positions

The following positions are available to be filled.

President-Elect and Treasurer

The President-Elect and Treasurer both serve a two-year term and are eligible to serve a consecutive two-year term in the same office. To be eligible for an office, a candidate must be a current director in good standing for at least two years. An officer, upon expiration of his or her second term, shall be eligible for election to another office or as a director.

Expiring Terms and Eligibility

Betty Marshall’s term as Treasurer is expiring in the Fall of 2021 and she would not like to be considered for a second term at this time.

Director

Directors serve a three-year term; an elected director is eligible for a second consecutive term. A person who fills a vacancy for less than one-half of a full term shall not be considered to have served a term. To be eligible to serve as a director, an individual must be a member in good standing of the Association for at least a year prior to election. An elected director who has served two terms shall be eligible to serve as a director after a lapse of at least a year from the expiration of his or her last term as director.

Expiring Terms and Eligibility

Three directors’ terms (Randy Davis, Betty Marshall and Heidi Lehmann) are expiring in the Fall of 2021. Randy Davis is eligible for a second term or an officer position. Heidi Lehmann is eligible for either a director or officer position. Betty Marshall would not like to be considered for nomination at this time.
