Wednesday 6-12-2024 I ask the the Tactile experts about excessive switching in keys with Nemeth expressions.  They referred me to the Nemeth committee.  I was advised to open the Nemeth indicator after "Key to the graphics below:  (open Nemeth) and then close Nemeth at the end of the list.   My colleague pointed out the attached.  This example came from the Tactile graphics guidelines.  Is this an error in Tactile graphics book?  If so, please advise an errata is needed.

This example from the Tactile graphics guidelines (Example 6-17) differs from the one in your first note because the labels in the 6-17 graphic are in UEB. The key list is rendered in the same code (UEB) which is why the Nemeth switch indicators are applied individually to the three labels. Keeping in mind that the items in a key are read as needed when the reader encounters them in the drawing, the transcription shown in Example 6-17 makes sense.
