spatial addition with comments

Good morning,

This project is for a 4th grader. When there are comments to the right of the partial sums, I know one option is to create a key.  I was wondering, if, to have a more direct relationship (as opposed to needing to refer to a key of the entire expression), it would be possible to have the comments to the right of the partial sums brailled out (either as they are written or with a key for lengthier units like "hundreds" or "thousands"), which would require a runover in some cases. Because of the runover, there would be a blank line between some of the partial sums.

Please let me know this arrangement would be a possible solution. There are quite a few of these types of problems throughout the book.  If not, I will just key the explanatory material.
