Hi, Kathleen.
Do you know if these transcribing/proofreading prices are still current in general, keeping recent inflation in mind? I'm thinking of raising my rates but don't want to price myself out of the classical piano transcription "market." (smiles!)
Thanks,
Christina
Christina RobertsonParticipantThank you very much!
Christina RobertsonParticipantKathleen,
Your explanation and your .pdf make sense - thank you!
As for the footnotes: yes, I intended that for the long word sign expressions. There is also an editor footnote in measure 0 which may not be in the excerpt I sent.
Thanks again!
Christina RobertsonParticipantThanks for the confirmation; I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something.
Smiles,
Christina
Christina RobertsonParticipantJulie,
I really wish I had someone to proofread my work! If you are doing classical piano transcription, I'd be a VERY willing proofreader for you. And perhaps vice versa? Kathleen, how might Julie be able to contact me offlist if she is interested?
Christina
Christina RobertsonParticipantThank you!
Christina RobertsonParticipantThank you SO MUCH!
Christina RobertsonParticipantKathleen,
Please use this attached measure 16 as the measure in question. I could more appropriately use a full measure in-accord for the previous measure 18. Thanks again!

Christina RobertsonParticipantI found the answer in the Music Braille Code 2015, section 13.1.1 and example 13.3.2-1: the rest is to be treated as a note, so I shall braille "note, slur, rest, slur, note" (articulation excepted, of course). The new codebook is WONDERFUL!
Smiles,
Christina
