ParticipantIt's hard to be positive without context. Your interpretation is that each line constitutes an equation, with all components in Nemeth. My initial reading was that High and Low were labels which would mean they are not part of the technical material. Context would make the meaning more clear. But regardless, if your question is about the left superscripts, that part of the transcription stays the same.

ParticipantThe braille is correct if the print is read as two equations

ParticipantWe do not see this as a pointing arrow. It is also not part of the expression $5 off. It is a technical expression in its own right, suggested meaning "then". Our consensus is that it has been transcribed correctly. (There is a dot error in the comma following off).

ParticipantI don't see your braille

ParticipantWe are having a discussion on this. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

ParticipantCindi answered your question on the Formats forum. I am copying her answer here.
After checking on this, the consensus is that these are equations ... They just use words rather than numbers. As such, when transcribing a book using Nemeth and UEB, they should be done in Nemeth.

ParticipantIf you mean, by page change indicator, the line of dots 36 across the page, such an indicator is not required in either situation you mentioned in your post. The page number would advance in the upper right corner for each. No page change indicators are inserted on line 25 or line 1 of a braille page. BF 1.11.4 "Begin the new print page on the next braille page when there is not enough room for the page change indicator and one line of text."

ParticipantCindi has asked me to reply to your question regarding the table of contents in your workbook. If I understand your situation correctly, the brief TOC would be listed in volume 1 on whatever the print page number is. In the first volume you would also have the toc pages listed that are included in that volume. In the volume that includes part of the first section and part of the second section, the toc that relates to the first section is located as it is in print on page ix, followed by the rest of the first section. Then, at the location shown in print, on page 217, list the toc for the pages shown in the included part of section 2. The full table of contents at that point does not have to be included -- that requirement was filled by the brief table of contents in the first volume.
I hope I haven't made this sound too confusing. Please let me know if you have questions.

ParticipantHi. Cindi is unavailable this week, but asked me to help you find an answer. There are no rules about something like this. I have attached a suggestion. Dorothy
