ParticipantDorothy, thank you for your response. The only question I still have is how to braille the key with the left pointing arrowhead, which is also solid.

ParticipantI'm going to ask for assistance in answering your questions.

ParticipantTactile Graphics Guidelines require that concept maps be drawn as a tactile. However, if you are going to do it in braille, as non-exercise material, you would treat it as a nested list according to the Braille Formats Guidelines.

ParticipantIt is suggested that the symbol for the right pointing arrowhead in a keystroke is [braille]$_o which is "shape indicator, filled in, arrowhead". That assumes that your arrowhead is solid not outline.
Leave spaces following the commas in the keystroke X,T,O,n

ParticipantThe Roman numerals are actually numbers, not abbreviations. They are double capped because that's the way we do Roman numerals. I would not insert a dot 5 in this situation since what you've got is numbers (Roman) followed by decimal point and numbers (Arabic).

ParticipantYes. I also would use the "is to" comparison sign.

ParticipantI don't believe there is a Nemeth symbol for two lines cut by a transversal. It probably makes sense, if you have this symbol occur frequently, to create a symbol or icon for it -- for instance edtt [braille]$ttfor shape two-transversal -- or whatever seems logical. You would define it in a tn the first time you use it, and list it on the special symbols page also. Make sure that you are not using a symbol that already has a meaning in Nemeth.
If anyone is aware of an already existing symbol for two lines cut by a transversal, please let me know.

ParticipantI'm afraid I'm pretty ignorant about the Template. Could you post your question on the Computer Assisted Braille forum?

ParticipantIn your example, the number 4 is preceded by a space, so a numeric indicator would be required.

ParticipantIf I'm seeing what you're saying, it is a modified greater than or equal to. [braille]".1:<_8] Dot 5 to indicate modification, greater than/bar for the expression to be modified, directly over symbol, (456) question mark as modifier, termination.

ParticipantA symbol that is sometimes (oftentimes) used to represent that C and R are the script letters C and R.

ParticipantYou should be able to do it just once. The matrix is still clear with the headings included. I have attached a suggestion.

ParticipantI answered this question in a personal email because that's the way I received it. I will try to post the answer I gave.

ParticipantWhen deciding on the use of the English Letter Indicator, you treat the expression as if the grouping signs were not present. That would leave you with an unspaced "series" of letters: Fx or fx. Would the letter indicator be required in that case?
