Nominate Our 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient
The National Braille Association is thankful for the countless men and women who have dedicated their lives to ensuring that individuals who are blind receive high quality braille. In 2011, we began to honor these individuals by presenting them with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Due to COVID restraints and canceled conferences, the award process was put on hold for a couple years. We’re thrilled to begin this program again and we’re opening the nominations process to select an award winner this fall.
Each year, one individual is selected to receive the NBA Lifetime Achievement Award. For 2023, the selected recipient will receive the award at our 2023 Professional Development Conference in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The awardee is selected by the NBA Board of Directors, after a careful review of submitted nominations. If you would like to nominate someone for this year’s award, we encourage you to submit their name and a short description of their accomplishments today. The deadline for submitting nominations is August 18, 2023.
Please note that entries from previous years aren’t considered. Only nominations received this year will be considered.
