Our monthly rotating topic for April will be Foreign Language Braille, and the First Friday in May will be a continuation of Braille Formats. For a more detailed description of the two upcoming webinars and how to attend, please see the below information on each.
Multi-line Brackets in Foreign Text
Presenter: Carol Greer
Friday, April 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm EST
Multi-line brackets are used to show a correlation between a word or phrase and a group of related words. While not unique to foreign text, multi-line brackets are often used in multiple situations within foreign language textbooks. This webinar will focus on where to find information necessary to transcribe multi-line brackets consistently. While we will only be looking at a few basic examples, methods for dealing with more complex print will be briefly discussed.
